Celebrating the music of

Nine weeks ago Dad and I went to see the MSO celebrating the music of Billy Joel.

It was a pretty normal sort of situation except Dads carer pulled out and he was much later getting ready than he intended.

The stress of trying to sort it all out then get to the train made for some pressure but I don’t think I’ll be able to hear his music without a bittersweet feeling.

4 weeks after being in the front row of Hamer Hall we were in the Royal Melbourne Hospital emergency department getting Dad prepared for ICU.

It’s a lesson I suppose

Not to take anything for granted

Not to waste

I’m still in disbelief in so many ways.
